About the Role
Beacon Hill’s law firm client in Encino is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support a fast-paced, high-volume PI litigation team while a team member is out on leave. This is a fully onsite role with heavy client interaction and steady workflow. The ideal candidate brings solid PI experience, strong Spanish communication skills, and is comfortable in a paperless environment.
- Location: Encino, CA (onsite)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Duration: 3-6 month leave coverage, potential to extend
- Pay: $21-$28 per hour, DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Heavy client communication in Spanish and English
- Communicating with insurance adjusters and following up on case status
- Opening, organizing, and managing PI files in the case management system
- Requesting and tracking medical records, bills, and treatment updates
- Collecting client documentation, information, and signatures
- Basic damages tracking and organizing evidence, photos, and records
- Preparing template letters, forms, and basic correspondence
- Maintaining organized electronic files in a paperless office
- Supporting attorneys and the litigation team with daily case tasks
Required Qualifications
- Fluent Spanish (written and verbal)
- Personal Injury experience required
- Light PI experience is fine, but not someone with zero PI background
- Experience with high-volume PI clients and fast-moving caseloads
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in case management systems and electronic files
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to hit the ground running with PI basics
