We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounting Manager to oversee the daily accounting operations and support the financial reporting process of the organization. This role is ideal for a leadership-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and team supervision. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll oversight
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Support external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support business decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar platforms
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • CPA designation is a plus but not required
