Beacon Hill is currently staffing for several Audit Consulting engagements across the New Jersey and Philadelphia markets. These opportunities span Senior Audit Associate through Audit Manager levels and include interim, project-based, and fractional consulting roles with a variety of clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for public and private companies

  • Perform and oversee audit procedures in accordance with GAAP and GAAS standards

  • Evaluate internal controls and assist with risk assessments and SOX compliance

  • Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and supporting documentation

  • Assist with technical accounting research and draft memos on complex accounting issues

  • Coordinate with client stakeholders, internal teams, and external auditors

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting

  • Provide interim audit leadership during staffing gaps, system implementations, or peak periods

  • Identify opportunities to improve audit processes, internal controls, and documentation

  • Lead project-based or fractional engagements focused on strengthening audit and compliance functions


Qualifications:

  • Experience in audit, assurance, or public accounting

  • Background as a Senior Audit Associate, Audit Supervisor, or Audit Manager

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements

  • Experience with internal controls, SOX compliance, and risk assessment

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and audit tools (e.g., CaseWare, AuditBoard, or similar)

  • CPA or progress toward certification preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

  • Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills

  • Consulting or project-based audit experience highly preferred
