A Beacon Hill client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced Part-Time Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and audit-ready processes. This is a hands-on role ideal for an accounting professional with strong nonprofit experience who thrives in a mission-driven, faith-based environment.

- Contract to Hire
- Core Hours: Monday-Friday during work hours
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities and full-cycle accounting processes
- Perform bookkeeping functions, including chart of accounts maintenance, prepaids, deferred revenue, and grant/donation tracking
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and invoicing activities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Complete monthly account reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts and payment systems
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to external audit requests
- Monitor financial transactions, company credit cards, and account activity
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
- Assist with integrations between QuickBooks Online, Stripe, CRM systems, and other financial platforms
- Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial documentation
