We are seeking a Lead UI/UX Designer to provide design leadership and support across enterprise web applications and digital experiences. This role will primarily focus on user experience improvements, design consistency, accessibility, Figma-based design work, wireframing, prototyping, and front-end layouts. Development responsibilities are minimal, with most of the work centered around creating intuitive user experiences, maintaining design standards and pattern libraries, and supporting development teams with UI guidance. The consultant will conduct user research, facilitate stakeholder workshops, create user journeys and workflow diagrams, develop wireframes and mockups, and advocate for Human-Centered Design practices throughout the organization. Core technologies include Figma, Vue.js, CSS, Java applications, and existing UI pattern libraries.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of UI/UX design experience
  • Has served as the primary UI/UX point of contact for stakeholders
  • Expert-level Figma experience
  • User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design experience
  • Vue.js, CSS and front-end layout experience
  • Knowledge of Human-Centered Design methodologies
  • Experience supporting enterprise web applications
  • Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • User research, discovery sessions, and usability testing expertise
  • Responsive design principles
  • Experience developing and maintaining design systems/pattern libraries
  • Accessibility best practices and standards
  • Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills
