We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with strong NetSuite expertise to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and lead the monthly close process. This role will manage the general ledger, financial reporting, internal controls, and a small accounting team while partnering with leadership to improve processes and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
- Oversee general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and staff accountants.
- Maintain and optimize NetSuite ERP, including reporting and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Prepare cash flow reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
- Coordinate annual audits and assist with tax filings.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience required.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP implementations or system enhancements is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
