Payroll Specialist
We need a detail-oriented, organized Payroll Specialist to support one of our long-standing clients! Do you enjoy working with numbers, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, and being the go-to person for payroll questions? Are you someone who takes pride in accuracy and meeting deadlines? If so, read on…and then apply! This Payroll Specialist would be working on an onsite schedule in the Raleigh, NC area.
As the Payroll Specialist you would be responsible for:
* Processing weekly and/or bi-weekly payroll for employees
* Reviewing and verifying timesheets and payroll data for accuracy
* Ensuring payroll is processed in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
* Maintaining payroll records and employee payroll files
* Responding to employee payroll-related questions
* Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting
* Supporting month-end close related to payroll accounts
* Various ad hoc projects
You will partner and work alongside a respectable, dedicated group who very much enjoys working together.
To be considered for this role you would need to have:
* 3+ years of payroll processing experience
* BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
* Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
