Accounting Assistant
Moorestown, NJ
Contract to Hire
$22-$26/hr
Beacon Hill is working with a company in the Moorestown area seeking an Accounting Assistant to support their day-to-day accounting operations. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential to convert.
Responsibilities
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
* Enter invoices, match to purchase orders, and verify accuracy
* Process vendor payments and track outstanding balances
* Support cash applications and resolve discrepancies
* Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
* Maintain organized and accurate financial records
* Support month-end close activities as needed
* Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding billing issues
Qualifications
* 1-3+ years of accounting, AP/AR, or related experience
* Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
* Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
* Intermediate Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, reconciliations)
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
