My client, a Non-Profit focused on entertainment located in Midtown, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join the team. This role will report to the Tax & Accounting Director and will handle Tax and Accounting responsibilities. On a day to day you will prepare annual tax accruals and tax returns, prepare quarterly estimates and extensions and assist with federal and state tax audits. The tax work will be approximately 30% of the role and the other 70% of the position will be general Accounting. You will analyze and reconcile GL accounts, assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements, and prepare bank reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for an Accounting professional who has a tax background and ideally wants to have a blended role of Tax and Accounting. Ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience, and could be coming right out of public accounting or have a combination of public/private experience. The position is 5 days on site, targeting up to $95k on a base and anything over 35 hours will be paid OT.
