Position Overview:
The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to help gather, document, and communicate business requirements. This role supports ongoing projects and initiatives by analyzing processes, identifying gaps, and helping translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements through meetings, interviews, and workshops
- Assist with defining functional and non‑functional requirements, use cases, and user stories
- Analyze existing business processes and help identify opportunities for improvement
- Support the creation of documentation such as requirements documents, process flows, and basic data mappings
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood
- Track requirements through the project lifecycle and help manage changes as needed
- Participate in project meetings and provide status updates as required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in a Business Analyst, Project Analyst, or related role (internship experience acceptable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize information clearly and document requirements accurately
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of the SDLC
- Experience creating basic process diagrams (e.g., flowcharts, swim lanes)
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, or similar documentation tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
