Beacon Hill is in search of a direct hire Accounting Manager for an exciting apparel client. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations while helping scale processes within a growing organization. The Accounting Manager will oversee core financial activities, partner with external providers, and ensure accurate, timely reporting to support business decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading month-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting
- Managing accounts payable, cash tracking, and short-term cash forecasting
- Supporting inventory and cost analysis, including COGS and month-end reconciliations
- Partnering with external accounting and tax providers and coordinating required data
- Administering payroll and related compliance activities
- Managing ongoing sales tax requirements
- Assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects
- Improving accounting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual work
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting or finance operations experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus
- Experience with GL or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
- Prior experience in ecommerce or high-growth environments preferred
- Detail-oriented, independent, and comfortable working with cross-functional partners
