Cost Accountant
Cost Accountants! We need you-and so does our client! Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Cost Accountant who enjoys digging into the numbers, analyzing trends, and helping drive smarter business decisions. If you like working cross-functionally and making an impact, this could be a great fit.
As the Cost Accountant, you will work alongside a team helping to:
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and production variances to identify trends and cost drivers
- Maintain and update standard costing systems, including BOMs, labor standards, and overhead allocations
- Prepare monthly cost reports, inventory reconciliations, and margin analysis
- Partner with operations, production, and supply chain teams to monitor efficiency and ensure accurate cost tracking
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning initiatives
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Various related cost accounting and financial analysis duties as needed

To be considered for this position, you would need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
- Experience working within an ERP system
- Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
