Job Title: Electronic Filing Project Specialist (30-Day Contract)
Location: Gaylord, MN (Onsite)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 30-60 day project (with potential extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview
Beacon Hill’s client in Gaylord, MN is seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Filing Project Specialist to support a short-term, onsite electronic filing initiative. This role will focus on scanning, organizing, and electronically filing a large volume of confidential HR documents as part of a paperless conversion project.
- Scan and electronically file a high volume of paper documents into a digital filing system
- Organize and index approximately 600 active employee files, along with additional unfiled paperwork
- Assist in determining appropriate handling and organization of terminated employee records
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of sensitive HR documentation
- Maintain compliance with document management and data privacy standards
- Provide progress updates to HR leadership throughout the project
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience with a paperless conversion or electronic filing project strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience handling confidential HR or personnel records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage a large volume of documents in a fast-paced environment
