Title: Associate Director Member Engagement Enablement

Location: Greater Boston

Onsite Requirements: Hybrid

Duration: 6 months with potential for conversion

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary business partner to technology teams for member engagement platforms and data.
  • Lead day-to-day business oversight of a member engagement data platform, including phased enhancements and roadmap alignment.
  • Translate business needs and use cases into clear technical requirements and priorities.
  • Ensure data flows correctly across engagement tools (CRM, email/SMS, analytics, orchestration platforms).
  • Partner with engagement program leaders, analytics, clinical, marketing, service, and tech teams to support member engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee and support email and SMS engagement capabilities from a business perspective.
  • Evaluate and help advance new tools and capabilities (e.g., AI, automation, personalization) that improve member engagement.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and explain prioritization decisions.
  • Build strong relationships across a matrixed organization and influence without direct authority.
  • Support future growth of the function, with potential people leadership over times

Must-Have Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in health-related technology roles.
  • Strong health plan experience, especially working with healthcare or member data.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data infrastructure (how data is structured, stored, defined, and flows between systems).
  • Ability to bridge business and technology – comfortable working closely with engineers, data teams, and business leaders.
  • Experience with CRM, engagement, or omni-channel communication platforms (email/SMS).
  • Strong technical fluency paired with the ability to drive business outcomes.
  • Proven success working cross-functionally in complex, regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, including explaining complex topics to varied audiences.
