Software Test Engineer

This role focuses on automated UI and API testing to ensure high‑quality, reliable product releases. The engineer will design and execute test plans, build automation frameworks, and partner closely with development and product teams to identify defects early and drive overall product quality. Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium, Visual Studio, API testing, and experience writing SQL queries.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, automated test scripts, and regression suites
- Build and maintain UI automation frameworks (Selenium preferred)
- Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) to validate functionality and performance
- Collaborate with developers and cross‑functional teams to identify, track, and resolve defects
- Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved prior to production releases
- Contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes and product quality
Experience
- ✅ 1+ year software development experience OR
- ✅ 3+ years automated software testing experience
Technical Skills (Non‑Negotiable)
- ✅ Automated testing experience
- ✅ Selenium (UI automation)
- ✅ Visual Studio
- ✅ API testing (REST / SOAP)
- ✅ Writing SQL queries
- ✅ Familiarity with Eclipse IDE or similar
