Technical Support Analyst – Boston – $60-80k + Bonus
A well-established private equity firm is looking for a Technical Support Analyst.
This is a hands-on IT support role supporting a highly polished, professional internal user base. You’ll join a small IT team and deliver white‑glove, concierge‑level support in a collaborative, stable environment.
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: On-site 5 days/week
Your background
- Experience providing Tier 1 / Tier 2 IT support in a professional environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; polished and articulate
- Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders and managing partners
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows 11
- Exposure to Active Directory / Entra ID (permissions, security groups)
- Experience supporting hardware, software, iOS, and PC environments
- Customer-service oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
- Open to recent grads or career shifters
The work you’ll be doing
- Delivering white‑glove, concierge‑level IT support to internal users
- Handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk requests
- Onboarding and offboarding employees
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading software and systems
- Supporting Windows and Mac environments, hardware, and mobile devices
- Coordinating and installing workstation setups
- Managing Active Directory / Entra ID permissions and security groups
- Maintaining the IT stock room and inventory
- Partnering with a small IT team (10 total, 3 in support) and reporting into the Director of IT
In exchange for your hard work you’ll receive
- Salary: $60-80k base + 20% bonus
- Profit sharing: 7.5%-15% (401k or cash if maxed)
