We are partnering with a growing company in the apparel and retail industry to hire a Senior Accountant. This role will play a key part in day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

This is an onsite position in West Hollywood qith 1 WFH day per week, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, detail-oriented, and collaborative across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments

• Own balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data

• Analyze financial statements and investigate variances

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

• Partner with AP, AR, Payroll, and Operations to improve workflows and reporting

• Review invoices and assist with AP processes as needed

• Assist with audits and prepare supporting schedules and documentation

• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

• Support the Controller with ad hoc projects (e.g., sales tax, filings, audits)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (retail or apparel experience preferred)

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
