We are partnering with a growing company in the apparel and retail industry to hire a Senior Accountant. This role will play a key part in day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
This is an onsite position in West Hollywood qith 1 WFH day per week, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, detail-oriented, and collaborative across teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments

Own balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data

Analyze financial statements and investigate variances

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
-
Partner with AP, AR, Payroll, and Operations to improve workflows and reporting
-
Review invoices and assist with AP processes as needed
-
Assist with audits and prepare supporting schedules and documentation
-
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls
-
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
-
Support the Controller with ad hoc projects (e.g., sales tax, filings, audits)
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
5+ years of progressive accounting experience (retail or apparel experience preferred)
-
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
-
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
