Vulnerability Management Data Analyst
Onsite data‑focused security role supporting a Vulnerability Management and PCI Compliance team. The role is centered on analyzing vulnerability data, identifying trends and anomalies, and clearly communicating insights to stakeholders in a structured, process‑driven environment.
Location: 100% onsite – Charlotte, NC (1 day remote per week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Eastern)
Duration: Long‑term contract (1+ year)
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets related to vulnerability management and PCI compliance
- Perform advanced Excel analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Identify trends, risk patterns, and anomalies within vulnerability data
- Create reports and summaries for stakeholders and leadership
- Explain what the data means and its business impact
- Support ongoing PCI compliance initiatives
- Accurately document findings and maintain reporting accuracy
- Partner with cross‑functional teams on remediation and process improvement
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in Vulnerability Management or security/compliance analysis
- Strong advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Experience working with large, complex datasets
- Ability to identify trends and outliers in data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable presenting data insights in meetings
- Reliable, accountable, and detail‑oriented
- Willing to work primarily onsite
