We’re partnering with a growing company in Auburn that is looking for a dynamic Accounting Manager to jump in and lead the charge. This is not a “keep things warm” kind of role. This is your chance to bring structure, drive improvements, and truly make the function your own.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and oversee the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, and GL
- Lead month-end close and keep things moving efficiently and accurately
- Deliver clean, timely financials that leadership can rely on
- Dig into reconciliations and tackle discrepancies head-on
- Mentor and support a small but strong accounting team
- Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions
- Help prepare for audits and ensure compliance
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership exposure
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting and close
- Someone who is proactive, organized, and willing to jump in
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
- Strong communicator who can work across teams
Bonus Points If You Have
- CPA or are working toward it
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industries
- A track record of improving processes or systems
