Dispatch Coordinator
Position Summary
Beacon Hill is hiring 2-3 Dispatch Coordinators to support a high‑volume HVAC, heating, cooling, and plumbing service operation. This role is responsible for dispatching field technicians, coordinating schedules, communicating with customers, and supporting daily service operations.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced dispatch environment, enjoys solving scheduling challenges, and delivers strong customer service while keeping technicians and operations on track.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay Rate: $18-$24 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift 1: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Shift 2: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM
- Work Arrangement: Onsite
- Openings: 2-3 positions available
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and schedule HVAC, heating, cooling, and plumbing technicians
- Coordinate daily service calls, routes, and technician workloads
- Communicate with customers regarding appointments, ETAs, and schedule changes
- Update dispatch systems with accurate job and scheduling information
- Respond to urgent service needs and adjust schedules in real time
- Support smooth daily service operations and job completion
- Collaborate with field technicians and internal service teams
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Dispatch Coordinator, Service Dispatcher, or Service Scheduler preferred
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or service-based industries strongly preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume dispatch environment
- Proficiency with dispatch or service management software and Microsoft Office
