Beacon Hill is partnering with a large, publicly traded organization in the Anoka / St. Louis Park area on a 6+ month consulting opportunity for an SOP / Technical Writer (Finance & Accounting).
This role will focus on documenting, standardizing, and improving AR/AP processes, helping drive consistency and efficiency across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in finance or accounting operations, along with a proven ability to translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation. This is a great opportunity to work with a fast-moving team on a high-impact project with potential for extension.
What you’d be doing:
* Partner with SMEs to capture workflows
* Write and update SOPs & desktop procedures
* Standardize documentation across teams
* Support process transitions and handoffs
* Ensure alignment with compliance and operations
What they’re looking for:
* Experience writing SOPs or process documentation
* Ability to simplify complex workflows
* Strong communication with cross-functional teams
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with multiple ERP systems
* AR/AP or transactional finance background preferred
* Experience with shared services or transitions is a plus
