Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Assistant for a temporary opportunity with a law firm handling real estate, foreclosure, HOA, eviction, probate, and estate planning matters.
This position will begin on a part-time schedule of 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM, with the opportunity to transition to full-time hours at the end of July.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file legal documents through both e-filing and traditional filing methods
- Draft complaints and other legal pleadings
- Assist with foreclosure, HOA, and eviction matters
- Support probate and estate planning matters, including preparation of related documents
- Maintain case files and assist attorneys with administrative and legal support tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous legal experience (including legal internships or junior paralegal roles) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Notary Public certification is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
