Human Resources Manager
Location: Maple Grove, MN (100% onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Salary: $120,000-$130,000 annually

Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on HR leader, supporting employees and managers across a broad range of human resources functions. This role will partner closely with leadership and HR Centers of Excellence to drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, compliance, talent initiatives, and workforce planning.
The ideal candidate brings strong employee relations expertise, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment where agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and leaders, providing guidance on HR policies, employee lifecycle matters, workplace expectations, and organizational initiatives.
- Partner with managers on performance management, coaching, employee relations concerns, investigations, corrective actions, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Address employee inquiries related to policies, programs, and workplace concerns while coordinating specialized matters with appropriate HR Centers of Excellence.
- Support retention, engagement, and culture initiatives by identifying workforce trends and partnering with leaders to implement practical solutions that enhance the employee experience.
- Provide HR guidance and change management support during organizational growth, restructuring efforts, role transitions, and business changes.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies, recruiting needs, interview processes, candidate experience, offer alignment, onboarding activities, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Partner with Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Leave Administration, and Learning & Development teams to ensure effective program administration and timely issue resolution.
- Help execute enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives while ensuring local business needs and operational goals are effectively supported.
- Identify employee and leadership development opportunities and coordinate participation in training, compliance education, leadership programs, and professional development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, internal policies, reporting requirements, and HR best practices.
- Maintain HR records, support audits, analyze workforce data, track key HR metrics, and provide recommendations based on trends and organizational needs.
- Oversee and enhance HR processes related to onboarding, offboarding, employee status changes, policy administration, documentation management, employee communications, and issue tracking.
- Lead or contribute to HR projects focused on operational excellence, employee experience, compliance improvements, process optimization, and business growth objectives.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience working within organizations with 1,000+ employee headcount.
- 5 years+ of progressive HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, investigations, performance management, policy interpretation, workplace conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional HR teams including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Learning & Development, and Leave Administration.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.
- Experience utilizing HRIS systems, reporting tools, workforce analytics, and HR metrics to support decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Highly Preferred
- Experience supporting organizations undergoing rapid growth, transformation, or large-scale expansion.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operations-focused industry experience.
