Title: CRM Marketing Specialist

Industry: Fitness

Duration: 12-month contract with potential to convert full-time

Hours: Initially 20-30 hours per week

Would be expected to go onsite on Mondays & Wednesdays to their office in downtown Boston.

Must have Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AMPscript experience

The CRM Specialist coordinates, implements and optimizes best-in-class CRM marketing campaigns (Email, SMS, Push and In-App Messages) aligned with annual marketing calendar, brand initiatives, member moments and organizational goals. This role will develop and execute Email, SMS, Push, In-App messaging marketing campaigns, including promotional campaigns aligned with marketing initiatives, seasonal promotions, lifecycle journeys and member milestones. The Specialist will contribute to copywriting, email design, campaign automation, HTML/Data extension support, journey building and light analytics.

Experience, Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles, focused on email
  • Technical proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp,), CRM software, and automation software and tools
  • Proven experience building emails and audience lists as well as deployment in SFMC Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Content Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio
  • Significant experience with AMPscript, Dynamic Code Blocks, and SQL with SFMC or mastery of AMPscript and Dynamic Code Blocks, and SQL within SFMC
  • Analytical minded with the ability to interpret data, monitor metrics, and use actionable insights to improve campaigns. Knowledgeable in Google analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, HTML, and CSS for creating polished, functional emails, automating emails, and basic coding tasks. Adobe Creative Suites (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma, strongly preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and adapt to challenges in email marketing strategy
