Our client, a multi-state bank located in Westlake, Texas, is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Workforce Partner to join as the Bank’s lead recruiting partner and a key contributor to workforce administration and governance within the HR & Total Rewards function. This role is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting for professional, technical, digital, and leadership roles that support the Bank’s business, financial, and technology operations, while also owning selected workforce support processes, including position management, contractor administration, compensation data administration, job description drafting and governance, and related talent operations activities.
Operating in a multi-state, multi-entity environment, the Talent Acquisition and Workforce Partner partners closely with business leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, HR leadership, and HR Operations to support compliant, efficient, and well-governed hiring and workforce processes. The role combines recruiting expertise with disciplined administration of critical workforce processes to support the Bank’s operating model, internal controls, and organizational needs. The role may also provide backup support for selected HR Business Partner processes, transactions, and coordination activities, as needed, while escalating employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and other higher-risk matters to the appropriate HR Business Partner or HR leadership.
This role is highly collaborative and business-facing, with regular interaction across leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners in support of recruiting and workforce needs. It provides strong exposure to core HR processes and offers meaningful opportunity to build broader HR capability and grow into expanded business-facing roles over time.
This is a direct-hire opportunity. Following an initial 30 to 60 days of onsite training and onboarding, the position will transition to a hybrid schedule, with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for professional, technical, digital, business, and leadership roles, including positions supporting the Bank’s IT, systems, data, and other business-critical functions.
- Partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and HR leadership to understand approved hiring needs, align recruiting activity with business priorities, and support effective hiring outcomes.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using recruiting platforms, Boolean search techniques, referrals, networking, targeted outreach, and other methods to attract qualified and diverse candidate pools, including competitive and hard-to-fill technical and IT roles.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, educational institutions, professional organizations, and other external talent sources to support recruiting effectiveness and employment brand visibility.
- Provide labor market insight, candidate availability information, and recruiting activity trends, particularly for technical, digital, and other hard-to-fill roles, to support realistic hiring plans and informed recruiting strategies.
- Manage candidate communications and the candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle to ensure professionalism, responsiveness, and alignment with the Bank’s culture and standards.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking, recruiting records, reports, and related documentation in accordance with internal standards, compliance requirements, and sound recordkeeping practices.
- Monitor and report on recruiting metrics and outcomes to assess program effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
- Support the job offer process in coordination with HR leadership by preparing and maintaining recruiting and compensation-related data inputs and documentation.
- Own and manage position management activities, including creating positions and processing or coordinating position-related changes, to support accurate position data and alignment with approved organizational needs.
- Administer contractor-related processes, including contractor onboarding, tracking, extensions, and offboarding, while maintaining appropriate workforce documentation and visibility over contingent labor activity.
- Draft, update, maintain, and govern job descriptions to support recruiting, position documentation, organizational clarity, and workforce administration needs.
- Partner with the Director, HR Business Partners and Talent, and other stakeholders to ensure job descriptions are current, consistently structured, and aligned with business needs and approved role expectations.
- Perform compensation data administration activities, including maintaining compensation-related records, preparing data inputs, and supporting documentation used in recruiting and workforce processes.
- Coordinate with HR Operations and other internal partners to support efficient handoffs related to hires, position activity, contractor administration, and other workforce transactions.
- Maintain control of employee SWAG inventory and distribution in support of onboarding and employee experience activities.
- Provide backup support for selected HR Business Partner processes, transactions, and coordination activities, as needed, while escalating policy interpretation, and other higher-risk matters to the appropriate HR Business Partner or HR leadership.
- Participate in projects and process improvement efforts that strengthen recruiting effectiveness, workforce administration, documentation quality, and operational consistency within the HR function.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support the effective operation of the department and the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Seven (7) to ten-plus (10+) years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruiting operations, HR operations, workforce administration, or a combination of these areas.
- Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple disciplines and levels, including professional, technical, digital, IT, systems, data, or other business-critical roles.
- Experience supporting or administering workforce processes such as position management, contractor administration, job documentation, or related HR operational activities.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR systems, and related recruiting or workforce tools.
- Working knowledge of recruiting compliance requirements, sound selection practices, and applicable employment laws.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
Preferred:
- Experience in financial services, banking, or another regulated, multi-entity, or complex operating environment.
- Experience supporting compensation administration, compensation data management, or recruiting-related compensation processes.
- Experience drafting and governing job descriptions or supporting job documentation processes.
- Experience supporting contingent workforce administration or contractor lifecycle processes.
- Experience recruiting for technical, IT, digital, data, or other hard-to-fill roles within financial services, banking, or another regulated environment.
- Professional certification in human resources, recruiting, or talent acquisition.
