Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Work Arrangement: Full-Time, Onsite
Employment Type: Contract (1 Month)
Compensation: $25-$28/hour
Position Overview
Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a professional, personable, and detail-oriented Receptionist / Front Desk Administrator to provide temporary coverage during an Office Administrator leave of absence. This individual will serve as the face of the office, creating a welcoming experience for visitors while supporting day-to-day administrative operations and maintaining a secure front desk environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, employees, and vendors while providing exceptional front desk customer service.
- Respond to and route incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Issue, track, and maintain visitor access badges according to company procedures.
- Oversee daily reception area activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assemble and organize onboarding materials and new hire packets for incoming employees.
- Monitor break room inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
- Coordinate office supply purchases and maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Arrange travel accommodations and itineraries when requested.
- Assist with a variety of administrative, clerical, and office support tasks.
- Maintain office security by ensuring entry doors remain secured and following visitor access protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, or office support role.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
