Beacon Hill is supporting one of our clients on a search for a Merchandising Technician in Matthews, NC.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity. That is 100% onsite, 5 days a week in Matthews, NC.
Position: Merchandising Technician
Description:
This position will support a merchandising team with day-to day data entry, reporting, vendor and item setup, and category related activities. Data entry and Excel will be a large focus of the role, but responsibilities will vary and can include supporting product samples, promotions, contracts, vendor communication, and category reviews. The team is looking for someone who is organized, detail oriented, and able to take initiative and work independently without needing constant direction.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience working with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong data entry experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with RELEX Solutions and Oracle or SAP
- Ability to manage spreadsheets, reporting, tracking, and category-related information
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently without needing micromanagement
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities
