Summary:
Our client, a growing tech company in Mount Laurel, NJ, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their accounting team. This is a contract‑to‑hire role with the opportunity to advance as the team expands. The salary range is $60,000-$70,000, depending on experience. Previous experience within a Bookkeeper role is required.
Position Summary:
- Handle day‑to‑day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain and support the general ledger
- Assist with month‑end close processes
- Prepare journal entries
- Support audit requests and financial documentation
- Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data
Technical Qualifications:
- 4+ years of bookkeeping experience required
- Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, and GL
- Proficiency using QuickBooks
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
