Beacon Hill is staffing for several senior-level accounting consulting engagements across New Jersey and the Philadelphia areas.
These roles include Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Interim Controller, and fractional accounting and finance opportunities. Industries include manufacturing, nonprofit, telecom, professional services, construction, wholesale, and more.
Compensation ranges vary by client and position, from $35-$60+ per hour for senior-level and above roles.
Responsibilities:
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports for leadership review.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiatives.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement system or procedural improvements.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely financial deliverables.
- Provide interim leadership or support during transitions, system implementations, or staffing changes.
- Manage project-based or fractional engagements focused on stabilizing and improving financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Controller within public or private accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, SAP, or a related system.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Advanced Excel.
- Consulting or project-based accounting experience is highly preferred.
