This is a temporary, onsite Capital Project Administrator role supporting a well‑established, family‑owned food manufacturing company. The position is based in Fall River, MA (onsite at a manufacturing plant), is full‑time at 40 hours per week, and is expected to last 4+ months starting April 1 to cover a maternity leave. Compensation is $25-$30/hour and parking is available.
Job Responsibilities
- Review capital project submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal guidelines
- Provide guidance on capital policies, procedures, and appropriate project processes
- Collect data and prepare monthly project reports for project managers and executive leadership
- Verify correct coding on purchasing documents and support accurate financial reporting
- Maintain and review project workbooks, reports, change orders, and closeout documentation
- Coordinate with finance, purchasing, accounting, and engineering teams to keep project documentation organized
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Support the engineering team, participate in special projects, and assist with staff training on capital processes
- Document procedures, decisions, and maintain historical project records
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior experience in project administration or project management support, preferably with capital projects
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Sage X3 experience preferred)
- Ability to read and understand contracts and scopes of work
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Flexible and able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions
