Our client, a non-profit association, is seeking Event Assistants to join their team on a temporary basis in New Orleans, Louisiana.
About The Job:
- Assist with event registration and attendee check‑in
- Support room setup and breakdown, including posters, signage, and materials
- Direct attendees and speakers throughout the venue and meeting spaces
- Help coordinate breakout sessions and on‑site logistics
- Provide general on‑site support and assist with various tasks as needed
- Maintain a professional, welcoming presence for all participants
About You:
- Friendly, professional, and customer‑service oriented
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and walking throughout the venue
- Willing to assist with a wide range of tasks; no task is too small
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment
- Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Comfortable interacting with the public and event staff
About The Position:
- Schedule:
- Tuesday, May 19: 10:45am-8:45pm
- Wednesday, May 20: 7:45am-7:00pm
- Thursday, May 21 (limited roles): 7:45am-6:15pm
- $21/hr
- Location: New Orleans, LA
- 100% on‑site
- Dress Code: Business casual; nice but comfortable shoes required
