Our client, an international architecture and landscape architecture firm, is seeking a proactive, motivated, and organized Temporary Administrative Assistant to support the Director of Business Strategy & Partnerships. This role is 5 days in office and guarantees at least 32-40 working hours per week. The role will start as soon as the team finds the right cand and will last for about 3 months with the potential to extend as needed. The position pays up to $39/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Director’s calendar, scheduling, and follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare and submit expense reports and provide general administrative support
- Handle correspondence, draft communications, and maintain organized follow-up systems
- Prepare meeting materials, take notes, track action items, and support acquisition meetings
- Coordinate occasional local travel and related logistics
- Organize, format, and maintain documents, presentations, and historical records
- Ad hoc task as needed by the team
Qualifications:
- 2-4+ YOE in an administrative position within a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (required)
- Proven ability to take initiative and work autonomously
- Self-guided with strong decision-making skills; thoughtfully considers options before escalating questions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy
- Experience with Adobe (preferred)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong writing and editing skills
