Overview
We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Community Director / Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at small but fast-paced apartment communities in the North DFW area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who can step in quickly, manage multiple priorities, and work closely with highly involved regional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a multifamily residential community
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage property financials, budgets, invoices, and reporting
- Oversee leasing activity, move-ins/move-outs, and unit readiness standards
- Maintain accurate and compliant resident and lease files
- Enforce rent collection policies and manage delinquencies
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal and safety
- Supervise, train, and support onsite staff
- Partner closely with hands-on regional leadership (frequent onsite collaboration)
- Handle resident concerns and follow up on service requests promptly
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of multifamily property management experience
- Prior experience as a Property Manager / Community Director strongly preferred
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Strong organizational, financial, and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of property management software (Yardi preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver’s license and required auto insurance
