Our client, a nonprofit arts organization is Boston, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support a senior leader. This onsite role is expected to last 8+ weeks, with a schedule of 30-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and the potential to work one day remotely after training. It is compensating up to $38 per hour, depending on experience. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a complex executive calendar and coordinate internal and external meetings
- Act as a gatekeeper for executive time, prioritizing requests and maintaining schedule integrity
- Serve as a liaison with internal teams and external partners
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including agendas, minutes, and follow‑up communication
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and executive‑level materials
- Support communication and collaboration using Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and related tools
- Assist with travel arrangements and itineraries
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Provide general administrative and operational support to ensure executive readiness
Candidate Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience supporting senior leaders as an Executive Assistant
- Experience within arts, cultural, nonprofit, or academic environments preferred
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools
- Demonstrated discretion, cultural awareness, and professionalism
