Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of facilities operations across a growing renewable‑energy investment platform. This individual will lead the NYC office facilities function while also coordinating standards, processes, and vendor relationships across offices in Denver, Houston, and Portland. Hours are 9:00am-6:00pm with flexibility as needed. The role is fully onsite five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement standardized facilities protocols across all office locations to ensure consistency in workplace operations
- Oversee vendor management including contract negotiation, vendor performance, building management relationships, and facility services
- Lead office buildouts, expansions, relocations, and capital projects; manage budgets, contractors, timelines, and long‑term space‑planning needs
- Build annual facilities budgets, track capital and operating expenses, and maintain strong financial oversight for all office locations
- Oversee safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency preparedness protocols to ensure secure and compliant facilities
- Manage the NYC Office Assistant and collaborate with liaisons in other locations to maintain consistent service levels
- Serve as primary point of contact for all building‑related issues, repairs, equipment, and maintenance needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-12+ years of facilities management experience, preferably supporting multi‑site office environments
- Strong project management skills with experience overseeing capital projects and office buildouts
- Proven ability to negotiate vendor contracts and manage vendor performance
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasting
- Highly organized with excellent follow‑through and ability to operate independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and seniority levels
- Proactive, resourceful mindset with the ability to create scalable systems and anticipate operational needs
- Experience in corporate or professional services office environments preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
- Up to $140K base salary + bonus
