A well-respected mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a PMP-certified Project Manager to join their Project Management Office (PMO) on a contract basis. This role will support several strategic and operational initiatives while ensuring strong stakeholder communication during a key team transition.
The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to guide projects through the full lifecycle while maintaining strong governance, documentation, and reporting practices.
Key Responsibilities

Manage medium-to-large projects from initiation through completion

Coordinate project teams, timelines, and deliverables across multiple departments

Provide regular project updates and maintain strong stakeholder communication
-
Support PMO governance including dashboards, documentation, and project tracking

Assist with reporting on strategic initiatives for senior leadership
Current Projects Include
-
Collaboration and knowledge-sharing platform initiative
-
Transition of a major testing program to a virtual format
-
Member engagement and internal communications initiatives
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree required
-
4+ years of project management experience
-
PMP certification required
-
Experience leading cross-functional projects tied to strategic initiatives
-
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
