Our client, a global technology company located in Flatiron, Manhattan is looking for a Temp to Permanent Facilities Coordinator to join their team. This position will start as soon as possible and will operate on an in office schedule between the hours of Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm. Compensation is up to $27/hr while temping; $32-36/hr if converted.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Facility Manager and Concierge Coordinator with meetings, conferences, and events
  • Ensure a customer‑focused workplace aligned with company values
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and customer experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
  • Perform minor repairs and routine equipment maintenance
  • * Conduct daily inspections of the building and workplace areas
  • * Handle workspace setups, reconfigurations, and breakdowns
  • * Perform general/detailed maintenance under supervision
  • * Maintain accurate facilities records and manage work ticket queues
  • * Support vendor and contractor onsite activities
  • * Assist with moves and space changes
  • * Liaise with building management
  • * Ensure compliance with WHS, HSSE, and emergency procedures
  • * Participate in HSE programs, audits, investigations
  • * Maintain office and meeting supply inventory
  • * Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • * Send site‑wide communications regarding facilities activities
  • * Create and maintain playbooks and internal web pages
  • * Update communication channels
  • * Complete documentation using Jira Service Desk, Corrigo, etc.
  • * Support financial tracking and expense documentation
  • * Participate in site budgeting and cost‑saving initiatives
  • * Assist with guest services and visitor badging
  • * Provide reception/desk coverage as needed
  • * Set up/reset meeting and event spaces; perform room turnovers
  • * Manage post‑event storage and inventory
  • * Conduct room checks for AV and cleanliness readiness
  • * Report AV and cleaning needs; basic AV troubleshooting (preferred)

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Detail‑oriented, high standards for presentation
  • Proficient computer skills; willingness to learn Atlassian tools
  • Ability to read and follow plans, procedures, instructions
  • Experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and custodial tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, climb, and reach daily
  • Commitment to workplace safety
