A large Pittsburgh-based non-profit is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis. Looking for an individual with proven experience processing high-volume payroll and strong Microsoft Excel skills. This organization is looking for someone to begin working with them immediately, and is also offering a chance for the role to go permanent!
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for 500+ union and non-union employees using Paycor.
- Handle post-payroll functions including timecard review, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Work with vendors, unions, and municipalities to provide payroll information.
- Develop new forms, documents and/or processes related to HRIS and payroll activities.
Requirements
- Prior experience processing high-volume payroll
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, strong Excel skills required
- Experience using an HRIS / Payroll system, Paycor experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
