Our client, a healthcare non-profit, is seeking a Part-Time Coding & Reimbursement Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis in Linthicum, Maryland.
About The Job:
- Triage and respond to coding and reimbursement questions from physicians and practice staff
- Conduct coding research and prepare concise summaries and recommendations
- Support CPT and RUC activities, including surveys, data analysis, and background materials
- Analyze coding data and trends to inform reimbursement decisions
- Monitor and manage coding and payment policy inboxes
- Provide expert guidance on urology coding, billing, and claims issues
About You:
- Strong hands-on experience in medical coding and reimbursement
- Expert-level knowledge of payer policy and claims processes
- Urology coding experience strongly preferred
- Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Part-time, 19 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $35-40/hour
- Hybrid flexibility in Linthicum, MD
