Our client, a law firm, is seeking an Office Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to convert in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing a professional and welcoming experience
- Answer and direct incoming calls and manage front desk activities
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff, including document preparation and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings and events, including conference room setup and video conferencing
- Manage mail, deliveries, office supplies, and basic vendor coordination
- Support general office operations and ad hoc administrative projects
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role
- Experience in a professional services or law firm environment preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office and collaboration tool proficiency
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, client‑focused, and proactive
- Comfortable working fully onsite and supporting office events
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Duration: 6 months with potential to convert
- $32-$35/hr
- Permanent Salary Range: $75,000-$95,0000
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
- Comfortable with occasional overtime
- Fully onsite
