Our client, a property management company located in Providence, RI, is seeking a full-time Bilingual (Spanish) Leasing Assistant to join their team. This temporary position is 100% onsite and has an expected duration of a few months, with the potential to convert to permanent. The role pays $20-$21/hour and follows a 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule. Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, visitors, and site staff
- Provide customer service support for move-ins, parking, keys, maintenance requests, and general resident concerns
- Answer and direct phone calls and greet visitors to the management office
- Handle resident complaints and coordinate follow-up with maintenance and site staff as needed
- Support leasing and rental activities, including applications and guest cards
- Maintain resident files and records; collect and process rent payments and basic reports
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and other administrative documentation
- Schedule services and inspections and assist with office operations
- Cover the management office in the Property Manager’s absence and assist with resident events
Candidate Qualifications:
- Required experience with affordable housing, including HUD, and Tax Credit
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Prior experience in an office or administrative environment
- Excellent customer service, resident relations, and telephone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks calmly and effectively
- Ability and willingness to learn and work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals
