Our client, a leading company in the cell‑tower and commercial real estate industry, is seeking an Assistant Office Manager for a 3+ month onsite assignment in Boston. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, and pays $25/hr. The company operates in a polished, corporate environment and requires a professional who can serve as the face of the office while supporting daily operations. Job Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and direct callers appropriately
- Greet guests professionally and notify employees of arrivals
- Open and prepare common areas each morning (lights, kitchens, conference rooms)
- Submit and track maintenance requests through the building system
- Order office supplies and monitor inventory
- Coordinate vendor services and process related invoices
- Sort and distribute mail/packages
- Maintain cleanliness of shared spaces
- Assist with events and board meetings
- Provide overflow admin support including expense reports
Candidate Qualifications
- 1-2 years of office management or front‑office experience
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Professional phone etiquette
- Detail‑oriented and able to multitask
- Strong organizational and follow‑up abilities
- Ability to build strong internal/external relationships
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
