Our client, a world-renowned higher education and entrepreneurship organization, is seeking a Program Director for a 3+ month contract opportunity. This hybrid role is based in Cambridge, MA and requires four days onsite and one remote day per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, and the pay rate is $40.50/hour with potential flexibility for highly qualified candidates. This position will lead entrepreneurship programs, support curriculum development, collaborate across campus stakeholders, and help drive innovative student experiences. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage entrepreneurship education programs, workshops, lectures, and student initiatives
  • Develop, execute, and enhance student-focused entrepreneurship programming
  • Recruit, interview, and admit students into programs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create impactful educational experiences
  • Promote programs through presentations, social media, and outreach efforts
  • Identify and cultivate new funding and partnership opportunities
  • Support entrepreneurship curriculum development and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a liaison to entrepreneurship and innovation groups across campus
  • Build infrastructure, tools, and processes to support program delivery and growth
  • Teach entrepreneurship-related content and mentor student teams as appropriate
  • Participate in occasional evening, early morning, weekend, and travel commitments

Qualifications

  • MBA, MA, or MS required
  • Minimum of 5 years of program management, product management, or related experience
  • Experience working in a startup, innovation-driven organization, or entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong social media and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, and higher education
  • Experience running programs within higher education or academia strongly preferred
  • Collaborative, self-motivated professional who can work independently and as part of a team
  • Product, technical, international education, or international partnership experience is a plus
