Our client, a Boston‑based private equity firm in the software investment space, is seeking an Executive Assistant for a full‑time, onsite role supporting senior leadership. This position is onsite Monday-Thursday with hours of 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, with a pay range of $40-$45/hr. This is a high‑trust, high‑autonomy environment where the EA will serve as the sole administrative partner to two Managing Partners. Job Responsibilities

  • Executive calendar management for two Managing Partners, navigating shifting priorities with strong judgment
  • Investor relations support including LP data management and Annual Meeting coordination
  • Event planning for firm‑wide activities and a multi‑day executive leadership summit
  • Vendor management including resolving contract or deposit issues independently
  • Brand & materials creation using Canva or similar tools
  • Hiring operations including candidate tracking and interview coordination
  • Office management including catering, inventory, mail, deliveries, and vendor relationships
  • Front‑of‑house support greeting guests and managing the main office line
  • Ownership of ad hoc projects and operational needs across the firm

Candidate Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C‑suite or senior leadership
  • Background in private equity, venture capital, or professional services
  • Ability to take full ownership as the sole EA and manage office operations
  • Strong discretion and comfort handling confidential information
  • Proactive problem‑solver with excellent written communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and fast‑moving days
  • Fluency with AI tools in a modern workflow
  • Experience with Canva or similar design platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Local to Boston and fully comfortable with 4 days onsite (5 days once permanent)
