Our client, a nonprofit organization supporting campus-based student life, is seeking an Office Administrator to join its collaborative team in Waltham, MA. This onsite, 3-6 month contract opportunity offers $25/hour and has the potential to become permanent. The schedule will begin at 10-15 hours per week through early August, increasing to 30-35 hours per week thereafter, with a Monday-Friday schedule. Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to emails, phone calls, social media messages, and other inbound communications
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, alumni, visitors, and prospective participants
  • Assist with event registration, participant tracking, and administrative coordination for major programs
  • Process invoices, reimbursements, and other financial documentation
  • Maintain shared and programmatic calendars
  • Attend weekly staff and planning meetings
  • Support leadership with travel arrangements, expense reports, supply ordering, room reservations, meeting coordination, and database updates

Candidate Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-service-oriented approach
  • Prior administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Slides, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Experience with Canva is a plus
