Our client, a local DC school, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis with a strong possibility of going permanent in Washington, D.C.

About The Job:

  • Coordinate daily facility operations, maintenance, repairs, and custodial services across multiple locations
  • Ensure buildings remain clean, safe, functional, and compliant with applicable health and safety regulations
  • Serve as the primary contact for contractors, building service providers, and facility-related requests
  • Monitor facility systems, maintenance schedules, work orders, and emergency response needs
  • Assist with events, meetings, room setups, inventory tracking, and facility documentation
  • Support compliance initiatives, safety inspections, and building maintenance projects

About You:

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations daily is required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience, ideally in an educational environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems
  • Knowledge of building maintenance, safety regulations, and facility operations
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work independently or as part of a team

About The Position:

  • Start Date: ASAP!
  • $20-$23/hr
  • Fully onsite
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
  • Free parking available
