Our client, a management consulting firm located in Midtown, Manhattan is looking for a Part-Time Temporary Office Coordinator to join their team through the end of September. This position will start Monday, July 27 and will operate on an in-office schedule between the hours of 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Compensation is $25-$30/hour DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the office, greeting visitors and managing deliveries.
- Coordinate and maintain office supplies, kitchen inventory, and general office organization.
- Set up, reset, and maintain meeting rooms for internal meetings and client visits.
- Manage catering orders for meetings, events, and team functions.
- Liaise with building management and external vendors as needed.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate service for office equipment, including printers and conference room technology.
- Handle administrative projects and ad hoc office support tasks.
- Assist with unloading and loading dishwashers and maintaining shared office spaces.
- Support a professional and welcoming environment for employees and visiting clients.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications to assist with scheduling, communication, and administrative support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1+ years of hospitality and office experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Extroverted and service-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle client-facing interactions with professionalism and discretion.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, office needs, and occasional events.
