Our client, a well-established financial services organization is seeking a Contact Center Representative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Richmond, Virginia.
About the job:
- Handle 35-50 inbound customer calls daily regarding insurance claims, policies, and account inquiries
- Provide professional customer support while resolving issues and answering questions
- Navigate multiple systems and accurately document customer interactions
- Deliver excellent service while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Participate in a comprehensive training program and ongoing learning initiatives
About you:
- 1+ year of call center or customer service experience required
- Financial services, insurance, retirement, or investment industry experience preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and navigating multiple systems simultaneously
- Must have a wired internet connection (Wi-Fi not permitted)
- Able to work rotating shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM
About the position:
- Start Date: August 31st, 2026
- $20/hr (same upon conversion)
- Temp-to-Hire opportunity
- Schedule: Rotating shifts between 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Must be available for the first 6 weeks of training with no time off
