Location: Dallas, TX (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20-$22/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Bilingual Member Services Representative to join their team. This position is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service. The Member Services Representative will be the first point of contact for members, assisting with provider searches, benefit questions, plan information, and general account support.
This role is focused on member support and customer service. Claims processing experience is not required, and the position does not involve making decisions regarding claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries by phone and email.
- Assist members with locating providers and understanding available benefits and services.
- Answer questions regarding healthcare plans, eligibility, and coverage information.
- Provide accurate, timely, and professional customer service.
- Resolve member concerns through active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
- Document all member interactions accurately within company systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional member services and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable learning and navigating multiple computer systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting customers in healthcare, benefits administration, membership services, or a call center environment.
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Experience handling high-volume customer interactions while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
