This Customer Service Representative opportunity is with an insurance company in Boston, MA. The position pays $21/hour, runs 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is expected to last 5+ months. The hiring process consists of a virtual interview followed by an onsite interview.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service for home insurance inquiries via phone, email, text, and chat
- Deliver a positive customer experience with every interaction
- Learn and maintain knowledge of home insurance products and services
- Accurately enter and update policy information in company systems
- Build strong relationships with customers, agents, and internal team members
- Apply problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to resolve customer issues
- Adapt to new information and continuously improve customer interactions
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to identify and address customer needs
- Self-motivated with a desire to meet and exceed goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience preferred
- College degree completed or in progress preferred
- Strong computer navigation and problem-solving skills
- No prior insurance experience required; training provided
